About This Grant

How You Can Use the Funds
- Painting-related supplies: Paint, brushes, rollers, and similar tools.
- Planting materials: Flowers, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping items.
- Lumber and tools: For constructing or installing new fixtures like garden beds or community signs.
- Funding for artists: Compensation for individuals creating murals or public art.
- Volunteer supplies: Food and beverages for volunteers participating in the projects.
- Recipients must provide regular progress updates and follow a maintenance plan to ensure project sustainability. Free project consultation is available through their partner organization, Music Changing Lives.
Documents Required
- A detailed budget outlined of how the grant funds will be allocated.
- A schedule outlining the phases and completion dates of your project.
- Include drawings/visual plans for any proposed art projects, such as murals or installations.
- Required if the project will be performed on property not owned by the applicant.
- At least 3 before photos of the project site as it currently exists.
- Include the IRS determination letter for non-profit organizations applying.
- Submit letters from community members or local organizations demonstrating interest in and support for your project.
- List and describe any external donations or supplemental funding you have secured for the project.
