About This Grant

The CO—100 is a national awards program from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, recognizing the top 100 small and medium-sized businesses in America. Selected by a panel of judges, the program spotlights innovators, problem solvers, and change-makers who drive growth and ingenuity in their communities and across the country. Honorees receive media coverage, networking opportunities, and awards.

Grant Application Deadline
Early deadline: May 27 (entry fee $150)
Regular deadline: June 30 (entry fee $200)
Final deadline: July 7 (entry fee $250)

There is a no-fee entry option:

  1. Complete all parts of the application at https://www.co100.com.
  2. Once you’ve answered all questions, click on “Finish and Pay” in the bottom right of the screen.
  3. On the next page, click on “Print all Applications.”
  4. Print your application.
  5. Mail the completed application (all parts filled out, no blanks) via U.S. Mail to:

      Washington, DC 20062

Applications must be postmarked no later than July 7, 2025 to be considered. Any incomplete fields will invalidate your application.

How You Can Use the Funds

  • The program does not specify restrictions on the use of funds. Winners are recognized for excellence and can use the grant to enhance their business as they see fit.

Documents Required

  • Complete application form (includes eligibility and business information, such as name, location, and revenues).
  • Selection of 3–5 categories that represent business strengths.
  • Answers to multiple-choice and open-response questions about performance in those categories.
  • If already a U.S. Chamber member, the member number will be needed.
  • No mention of additional document uploads, but thorough, thoughtful responses are required.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be legal residents of the United States.
  • Be a for-profit business, operating for at least one year before May 4, 2024, and primarily based within the U.S.
  • Have fewer than 250 employees.
  • Generate gross revenues under $20 million for both 2023 and 2024.
  • Not have been named to the CO—100 in prior years.
  • Agree to the award rules, including possible attendance at the award ceremony.
  • Not be employees, officers, directors, or immediate family/household members of sponsors.
