About This Grant
The Outta Excuses Grant is a small business and nonprofit funding initiative that supports aspiring and established owners who need a financial push to start, structure, brand, scale, or otherwise strengthen their ventures, with an emphasis on helping entrepreneurs move from constant hustle to more sustainable, “sweatless” success.
How You Can Use the Funds
- The funds can be used to start, structure, brand, or scale your small business.
Documents Required
- Complete online form.
- Payment of the $15 non‑refundable entry fee, which covers platform and administrative costs.
Eligibility Requirements
- To be eligible to enter a business in the Program, you (“Officer”) must be all of the following as of the first day of the Program Period (defined below):
- an entrepreneur who is the leading executive (i.e. Founder and/or President, CEO, CFO, COO, or any such other similar title) of a business that meets the below business criteria;
- a legal resident of one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico; eighteen (18) years of age or older (19 in AL and NE).
- To be eligible to participate in the program, the business (“Entrant”) must meet all of the following criteria as of the first day of the The Deadline to Apply is March 31st, 2026 @ 11:59 pm EST.
- Be a for-profit OR non-profit business located and registered in one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico;
- Must be a creative entrepreneur as defined here;
- Must have a registered business at the start of the application;
- Must have an existing product or service;
- Have generated less than $500,000 in 2023 gross annual revenue; AND less than $125,000 in the last quarter
- Have a demonstrated need for funding and access to business coaching.
- The potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility by Sponsors, which may include completing associated documentation.
