About This Grant
L’Oréal’s Inclusive Beauty Fund and Hispanic Federation are partnering to award 20 one-time grants of $10,000 each to expand economic inclusion and empower beauty entrepreneurs across the United States. In addition to one-time funding, L’Oréal is committed to providing grantees with professional mentorship and business development support.
Beauty businesses, salon owners, estheticians, barbers, and stylists, from all corners of the nation are invited to apply for the Inclusive Beauty Fund and be part of a transformative movement in the industry. There is no purchase necessary or other cost to enter the Program or win a Grant.
Documents Required
- Hispanic Federation will award Grants (defined below) to businesses whose Entries receive the highest cumulative score. Entries will be reviewed by Hispanic Federation based on the following criteria:
- Clarity and feasibility of plan for proposed use of funds (30%)
- Demonstrated needs for funds to achieve a business goal or milestone (40%)
- Demonstrated commitment to community (30%)
- Preference will be given to entrepreneurs representing under-resourced communities.
- First time applicants, need to "Create Account" before entering.
Eligibility Requirements
- To be eligible to enter a business in the Program, you must be all of the following: An entrepreneur who is the leading executive (i.e. Founder and/or President, CEO, CFO, COO, or any such other similar title) of a business that meets the below business criteria: - A legal resident of one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico; - Eighteen (18) years of age or older (19 in AL and NE)
- To be eligible to participate in the Program, the business must meet all of the following criteria: - Be a for-profit business located and registered in one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico; - Be a business in the beauty and self-care industry, including salons, spas, barber shops, stylists, makeup artists, entrepreneurs, startup founders, haircare specialists, and beauty schools. - Business must be operational and have been in business for at least two years as of February 2024.
